I left the island Langeoog and now I am back home packing my gear for Egypt.. I also packed my cam... So in about 3 weeks there will be a new movie online. On Langeoog we already collected lots of good scenes for the Langeoog-video but it will probably come out at the earliest in the end of September.

KST Final in Fehmarn
13.08-15.08 2010
This weekend there had been perfect wind conditions on the island Fehmarn but unfortunately the competition took place in the south of Fehmarn. Right there wasnt' enough wind for our heats, because of the big houses next to the beach. So I ended up second overall junior freestyle.
Now I am back on the island Langeoog. The next days I am going to make a movie so stay tuned!
PKRA ST. Peter Ording
16.07.-25.07.2010
All in all I had a very good time in St. Peter Ording, I reached my goal becoming part of the main event but up from there I wasn't so lucky with the drawing. I spent so much time
on the water, met nearly all the riders from the german trophy and got to know other riders from different nations. 2011 I'll compete again in St. Peter Ording!!!

I left the island Langeoog with the first ship and after a long trip I arrived in St. Peter Ording. At the registration office
I met all the guys from the trophy and I met also all the guys I just got to know from videos.
After I've registered I went to the beach with some other guys and went to bed early.

Today the competition started. I trained a bit on my new raceboard with the 14m Fuse because they wanted to start race first but
they didn't. In the afternoon the freestyle trials got started and I was a bit in a hurry because I've fully concentrated on race
and handn't pumped my Vegas yet. But the North-Team was very kind and helped me to be ready on time.
Lucky I pumped up all sizes because two minutes before my first heat startet the wind increased and I was totally overpowered on
my 12m Vegas. So I took the 9m Vegas and now I was extremly on fire! First Worldcup, biggest event on earth and I'm in the middle...
4 Rider had to compete against each other and who ended up first qualified for the main event. I had a pretty good heat but I had pretty good
competitors too, so I ended up 2nd. Now I got my last chance to become part of the main event: three rider had to compete and only the
first place got a ticket for the main event. Guess who won this heat??! MEEE!!!!! :))) So I am in the main event, super happy with
that! At 19.30 I left the water on the way to pack my stuff and to eat something. In the evening we checked the party at the beach, unbelievable!
But unfortunately I had to go to bed on time to be ready for the main event :))

When I checked the notice board right in front of the riders lounge I was a bit shocked because I had to compete against the current
world champion, Kevin Langeree. But I had nothing to loose, so I tried some powerful moves in my heat but in the end it was, of course, not enough.
Now I'm looking forward to the doubles!!!

No wind! Just hanging around with the other riders, go swimming and relax at the beach. In the evening we checked out the party
at the beach and this time we could stay a bit longer because for tomorrow is also no wind expected. Hope there will be some wind.

Although the windforcast looked very bad for today it has blown with 15knts for some hours. I had great fun on the water and landed some
new switch tricks. Very happy about that. Today the racers competed and also the women single elimination took place but it had to be canceled because the wind decreased.
At night we went to the beach and had fun at the party.

The wind didn't blow very strong so they started a race. During the race the wind increased and right after the race they started
the singles of the men. I trained a bit on my 9m Vegas and landed a backmobe 5 the first time! In the Afternoon the wind decreased and they had to stop the singles!

In the doubles I had to compete against mike bloomvall. Not so happy about this, but that are the world championsships, so there are no beginners!
In the heat I missed some tricks and in contrast mike landed some really good tricks. I lost this heat and that's why I am out of the competition :(

The last three days I trained a bit on the water but there were so many riders that it was very difficult to train.
On Friday the wind was blowing very good. My first competitor was the current brasilian junior champ but that wasn't the problem. I landed a few good tricks but then, unfortunately I had a crash with an other kiter and thats why I couldn't finish my heat. So I was eliminated in the first round of the singles :( In the evening the doubles were started and I won my first heat. Five minutes later the doubles were canceled because the wind was gone. On Saturday and Sunday there was no wind. Hopefully I am more lucky in St. Peter in about 2 weeks.

On saturday there was no wind and I tried to pull my 4year old sister with the kiteboard. Surprisingly it worked perfect! So we tried to pull her behind the boat. That was really crazy because when I fired the boat she got up like she had never done anything else before and rode...

the last days I trained a lot in Langeoog and landed some good new stuff and some switch passes. Now I am looking forward to the PKRA -tourstop in St. Peter. Stay tuned!

KST Büsum
13.05-16.05
Over the whole weekend there had been perfect conditions in Büsum with superflat water and constant wind. On saturday the junior heats startet and I won the first ones. In the final i met once again Nils Wesch but I had a good run and landed some good passes with my favorite Kite 9qm vegas. So I won the singles. The doubles took place on sunday, where the wind has blown very strongly so I had to choose the 7qm vegas which I've never used before. So I had to adapt to this new setup. In the first heat I just landed some basics. In the decision heat I landed much more but in the end it wasn't enough so I ended up being second.

Dahme

This weekend the first tourstop of the German Kitesurft-Trophy took place in Dahme. Unfortunately we had very gusty offshore conditions and so the heats of the juniors didn't take place. So hope the conditions will be better in 2weeks.

Easter 2010
I spent one week of the easter holidays together with a friend of mine in Brouwersdam near renesse. We had some great days with good wind and cold water. Now I'm looking forward to the first tourstop of the german trophy that takes place in Dahme in about 2 weeks.
Vortrag vorm Gemeinderat

Die Gemeinde Habach hat mich eingeladen, bei ihrer Gemeinderatssitzung einen kleinen Vortrag übers Kiten zu halten. Und im Anschluss daran wurde ich noch ziemlich cool geehrt mit Zeitungsartikel und kleinem Präsent.

Yeeah! Deutscher Meister und 3ter Platz bei den World Championships im Snowkiten am Reschensee im Freestyle Ski / Herren! Das Wetter und die Kulisse waren traumhaft, nur der Wind spielte nicht immer ganz mit, dennoch hat es für eine Wertung in allen Disziplinen gereicht.

3. Platz KST Fehmarn & Rookie of the year
14.-16.August 2009
Das Finale der Seat Kitesurftrophy fand auf Fehmarn am Südstrand statt. Der Wind und das Wetter waren sehr gut. In den Singles bin ich leider schon im Achtelfinale rausgeflogen konnte mich dann aber in den Doubles nach vorne bis zum dritten Platz durchkämpfen, sodass ich am Ende zufriedener Dritter wurde. In der Gesamtwertung liege ich leider auf dem neunten Platz, da ich nicht alle Wettkämpfe mitgefahren bin. Das soll sich aber nächstes Jahr ändern!
Ausserdem wurde mir auf Fehmarn der Titel zum Rookie of the year - also bester Neuling, verliehen. Darüber freue ich mich sehr, vor allem weil bei der Auszeichnung eine Reise für eine Woche nach Ägypten, sponsored by SMINT und kitereisen.com, als Preis dabei ist. =)
Heute hatte es bis zu 40knt und wir haben uns mit den 2010ner 6er Rebels ordentlich rausgeschossen:

Endlich, der erste Tourstop, an dem Wind war und ich auch dabei! Und es ist wie am Schnürchen gelaufen. Ich konnte mich bis ins Finale durchkämpfen, musste mich dann jedoch Nils Wesch geschlagen geben. Für die Doubles hat der Wind leider nicht mehr gereicht.
